The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University continues to hold the traditional international summer school online and offline.
The purpose is to improve qualification of specialists in the field of forestry, land surveying and plant protection.

Why the "Land and Forest Resources Managment"?

Tasks:
• Conducting theoretical courses under the guidance of leading scientists KazNARU and foreign professors. Main principles and directions of the Winter School consider their tendency in market relations;
• Practical classes on GIS technology in forestry in the State Enterprise “Kazlesproekt”, Republican Forestry Selection Center, State Institute of Agricultural Aerial and Photogeodetic Research, Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Plant Protection and Quarantine;
• Organi zation of scientific and educational excursions to the Medeu branch of the Ile-Alatau State National Natural Park, the nursery of predator birds "Sunkar" and the Botanical Garden;
• Taking part in cultural and entertainment programs.

The main priorities in the activities of the university have always been and remain the provision of the agro-industrial complex with in-demand specialists, increasing their competence, qualifications, developing science and training and production facilities, developing new educational programs and opening new innovation centers based on available potential resources.
The university has passed a glorious path of search, achievements and has become a recognized core of the integration of science, education and production in the country. Preserving the best traditions laid down by several generations of outstanding scientists and mentors, the university is dynamically developing as a higher educational institution of a modern innovative type.

Aitbayev Temirzhan Yerkasovich is a vegetable grower, agrochemist, soil scientist, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. Successfully combines pedagogical activity with scientific work, was the supervisor of 8 scientific programs, currently is the head of 1 scientific program and 1 scientific project (MES RK, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
Under the leadership of T.Aitbayev, more than 100 new varieties of potatoes and vegetable-berry crops have been created; the gene pool of vegetable-berry plants has been increased 2.5 times (13,000 samples from 97 countries of the world) and the potato gene pool has been increased 10 times (2,100 samples from 40 countries of the world); the production of potato seeds and vegetable-berry crops of higher reproductions has been increased 5 times; -sound, resource-saving technologies for the cultivation of vegetable crops; agro-methods for the preservation and reproduction of soil fertility, increasing the productivity of vegetable crop rotations and obtaining environmentally friendly products have been developed; 10 collections of scientific papers have been published, more than 370 scientific articles have been published, including 15 books, more than 50 recommendations and brochures, has 5 copyright certificates for stimulants, more than 30 patents for breeding achievements, is a co-author of 50 varieties of potatoes and vegetable crops. He has 17 scientific articles with an impact factor (IF>0), the Hirsch index is 2.
T.E. Aitbayev is a member of the Scientific and Technical Council (NTS for Phytosanitary Safety) of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Commission of the Public Council for the Production and Processing of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.




Gulsharia Nursapaevna Kairova - Head of the Department of "Plant Protection and Quarantine". Gulsharia Nursapaevna Kairova is a specialist in the field of plant protection, fruit growing and viticulture. Under her leadership and direct participation, varieties of fruit, berry crops and grapes were created based on the study of their gene pool, technologies for their reproduction and cultivation were developed, which are widely introduced into production. She also developed an integrated system for protecting apple, pear, plum, apricot, peach and grape from harmful organisms.
Under her leadership, budget programs were carried out by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 212 "Scientific research and activities in the field of agro-industrial complex and environmental management" (2013-2014); 001 "Planning, regulation, management in the field of agriculture" (2014); 212 "Scientific research and activities in the field of agro-industrial complex and environmental management255 "Creating conditions for the development of production, processing, sale of crop production" (2015-2017) and 267 "Increasing the availability of knowledge and scientific research" (2018-2020). Also, under her leadership, a scientific project is being implemented for grant funding of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the priority "Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and safety of agricultural products". Kairova G.N. is the head of an international project jointly with the Kingdom of the Netherlands to create a demonstration plot of fruit and berry crops in the Agricultural University. She is a member of the Coordinating Council of the Kazakh Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing. Author of more than 140 scientific papers, including 17 recommendations, 9 guidelines and albums, 3 copyright certificates. She has trained 2 Candidates of Sciences, 2 PhD doctors and 3 masters, under her leadership more than 30 bachelor's degree projects have been completed. He is the supervisor of 2 undergraduates and 3 PhD-doctoral students.
